South Carolina Awareness and Rescue for Equines

White Knoll High School student is making positive career choices.

Andrea attends White Knoll High School.  For her class project she chose to use S.C.A.R.E. for her community service project, and Jan Carter, S.C.A.R.E.'s President to job shadow.

In these photos, Andrea spends time with Mulligan, our latest rescue, as well as other horses in one of our quarantine facilities.

Andrea has been involved in 4-H, and excels academically.  She is very compassionate, and wants a career working with animals when she graduates from college.

The very future of S.C.A.R.E. and the fate of abused and neglected equine in South Carolina rests in the hands of Andrea and the other young people like her who give of themselves towards the S.C.A.R.E. Mission.

Our sincere appreciation to Andrea for choosing South Carolina Awareness and Rescue for Equines and Jan Carter to shadow as part of the class project, and thank you to White Knoll High School for making a difference through their community service projects.
