South  Carolina  Awareness  and  Rescue  for  Equines
Ensuring that all equines in the state of South Carolina live in a safe, healthy and nurturing environment.
Mission: To provide public awareness and education concerning the welfare of equines, and to work with county Humane Society Chapters Animal Control Offices and Law Enforcement Offices in South Carolina to guarantee the welfare and safety of all equines in the state.   S.C.A.R.E. will assist in the investigation of equine abuse and/or neglect cases in South Carolina and will provide responsible foster/adoptive homes and quality rehabilitative care for equines in need.

Blondie and Blaze

These two  have recently come into S.C.A.R.E.'s rehabilitation program and are being cared for by dedicated volunteers.    Even though they each have body scores of around one, there is hope for them to come back from the brink to live the  safe and healthy lives they deserve.
